Jenson Button MBE is most famous for two things - his 2009 F1 win and his incredible skill at driving in the wet. He accredits his talent for driving in the wet to his early karting days, when his dad, John Button, would send him out on slick tyres during wet races. This allowed him to master kart control, which would later translate into great car control.

Pairing his ability for wet driving with his ability to make good choices when to change tyre compounds in uncertain conditions led to one of the best F1 races in history - the 2011 Candaian GP. Button took the win after starting 7th behind a safety car, but not before taking 6 pit stops including a drive through penalty, being dead last, surviving two crashes, 5 safety cars and a two hour red flag. Button took the win on the last lap after the leader Sebastian Vettel ran wide on turn 6, diminising the 0.9 second gap he had at the start of the lap.
